Jose Mourinho's Roma has snapped up Turkish defender Mehmet Zeki Çelik from Ligue 1 side Lille, the club confirmed Tuesday. The Turkey international has become Mourinho's third signing of the transfer window at Roma. He follows midfielder Nemanja Matic and goalkeeper Mile Svilar – both of whom were free transfers – to the Serie A club. Çelik, who has signed a four-year contract with the Serie A club, was said to be of interest to Mourinho when he was the Tottenham manager.
