Todd Boehly, Chelsea's co-owner, chairman, and acting sporting director, met with members of Thomas Tuchel's squad to discuss their futures this summer.
This follows the departures of Marina Granovskaia, Bruce Buck, and Petr Cech as the Blues prepare for a future under the ownership of Boehly-Clearlake Capital.
Tuchel and Boehly will be in charge of incomings and outgoings during the transfer window, and they have already made their mark by letting club-record signing Romelu Lukaku leave.
The 29-year-old returned to Inter Milan less than a year after leaving Stamford Bridge for a fee of £97.5 million.
Several first-team players are expected to leave the club this summer, following Lukaku.
Barcelona are reportedly hoping to sign Marcos Alonso as soon as next week, with Emerson Palmieri returning to Chelsea from his loan spell at Lyon.
It remains to be seen how much Chelsea will ask for the winger, who is expected to return to Spain this summer.
Furthermore, AC Milan are set to 'intensify' their pursuit of Hakim Ziyech, who could face off against Lukaku in Serie A next season.
However, if he hasn't already, Boehly is expected to meet with players to discuss their futures.
According to The Evening Standard, Boehly has already met with almost every senior Chelsea player's representative or agent.
However, these discussions provided little clarity about their futures.
Conor Gallagher has yet to learn whether he will be part of Tuchel's first-team plans for the upcoming season, while another loanee is set to hold talks.
Following a successful season at Southampton, Armando Broja has attracted interest from a number of Premier League clubs.
Broja will meet with the new Chelsea owners to discuss his future because he wants to play first team football after his season on the south coast.
With Lukaku gone, Kai Havertz will lead the line next season, and Broja could be in Tuchel's plans as a backup striker.
According to reports, the German wants to evaluate Broja again in pre-season before making a decision on his future.
With the introduction of five substitutes in the Premier League beginning next season, those who would have previously missed out on game time may now be able to participate.
As the new season approaches, it remains to be seen what the future holds for several Chelsea youngsters, including Broja.
