Leeds Live claims that depending on how long the dispute lasts, the Brazilian player may stay at Elland Road even though the team is about to leave for its preseason trip.
He had a fantastic season, scoring an important goal in the club's decisive win over Brentford on the final day of the year. Former teammate Kalvin Phillips praised him for his performances and called him "unbelievable."
The Blues, who witnessed his abilities firsthand when he scored against them in the thrilling match at Stamford Bridge earlier this season, were surely interested as a result of this.
The 25-year-old was to be acquired by the Blues from the Premier League survivors for somewhere about £60 million.
But it soon became clear that the youngster had been delaying a move to Stamford Bridge because he wanted to play for Barcelona.
Raphinha transfer is twisted
The Catalan club has subsequently expressed interest in him, but it doesn't seem like they have yet to equal or top Chelsea's bid.
The Brazil international is in a precarious situation as a result of the holding up, and Leeds' forthcoming preseason tour may need him to stay with Jesse March's team.

The majority of the Whites' team has returned, and their tour of Australia is just around the corner. If he is still a member of the team, they anticipate that he will travel with them, according to Leeds Live.
Given that they now know how much Raphinha prefers a move to Spain, it is believed that the Blues won't keep extending their offer to him indefinitely.
Although he clearly prefers other things, the club shouldn't give up on the Brazilian totally. The club may be about to completely change their attack as a result of the interest in Raheem Sterling, who is also in high demand. As potential teammates, the two would be a perfect complement to one another.
