Ghana takes part in the global intelligence summit.
Ghana attended the B2TGlobal Intellect Summit on June 22, 2022, which was hosted at NASDAQ in Times Square, New York.
The Summit, which was NASDAQ's second annual event, gave Ghana the chance to speak with American business titans and non-profit executives on how to strengthen links between the Ghanaian and American business communities and close the diversity and technology divide.
The largest minority-led (Black-owned) technology company in America, Overland Tandberg, organised the event, which drew some of the most well-known corporations in the country. It addressed complex issues and the creation of a framework that offers the solutions required to make a significant and transformative change in diversity, equity, and inclusion (D.E&I).
The American tech giant only proposed Ghana as an African representation. Ghana takes part in the global intelligence summit.
Bridge 2 Technologies (B2T) founder Eric Kelly expressed his enthusiasm for this year's summit and its capacity to bring together a superb group of executives, board members, and thought leaders from a variety of industries to address the important issues of the "compounding effects of the digital divide, including the expansion of diverse businesses, the workforce gap, economic inequality, lack of access to capital, and influential mentorship to fuel growth."
The head of operations at the Accra Digital Center, David Ofori, the information minister of Ghana, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, and the chief executive officer (CEO) of Ghana's top technology solutions provider, TechGulf, attended.
Mr. Oppong Nkrumah stated in his succinct remarks that "Ghana is excited about the B2T platform not only because it will have a significant impact in creating links and opportunities to catalyse the growth of minority-owned businesses, but also because it will give a good number of young Ghanaian entrepreneurs the opportunity to connect with sister businesses in the diaspora and the global economic community."
