Abdulai Iddrisu, the goalkeeper for Bechem United, has remarked that he does not look forward to playing the Black Stars. Iddrisu has had an exceptional season in the Ghana Premier League, and he was picked as the league's top goaltender by the players. When asked how he thinks about an instant call-up to the Black Stars, he responded that he aspires to play for the Black Stars, but that he is not excessively excited to participate at this point in time. He was responding to the question of how he felt about an instant call-up.

According to what he revealed to Ghanaweb, "As a football player, I can tell you that if you are a Ghanaian, you have an open invitation to try out for the Black Stars." I am a member of Bechem United, and I am keeping my fingers crossed that whatever it is that I am doing is headed in the correct direction. I am giving it my best in training, so if the coaches need someone who is doing what I am doing right now and they decide to give me a chance, then thanks be to God! But at this point in time, I am not very interested in being a part of it.

During the just-completed season of the Ghana Premier League, Abdulai Iddrisu set a new record by being the first goaltender to record 18 shutouts in 31 games. Because of what he had done, he was asked to join the CHAN squad Black Galaxies, also known as the Local Black Stars.

King Faisal Babies, a team playing in the Premiership and based in Kumasi, have announced that they will not require the services of three long-term players moving forward into the 2019 season.

These players have been officially told by management, and both parties have agreed to part ways.

In the 2020/21 Premier League season, things did not go well for King Faisal.

They were in danger of being demoted for the better portion of the season, but eventually they were able to avoid it thanks to a victory over Liberty Professionals in the last seconds of the game.

King Faisal got off to a strong start in the league by claiming consecutive victories over Kotoko in the MTN FA Cup and the league, both of which took place at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

After that, they were unable to recover their focus and strength in the remaining games, and they had to put in extra effort to avoid being relegated, just like they did two years earlier.

They ended up finishing 14th in the league with a total of 42 points, which was only two points better than Eleven Wonders, who were promoted to Division One along with WAFA and Elmina Sharks.
