Beijing's Foreign Ministry has denounced the US-drove Western military alliance of sabotaging world harmony
The US and its NATO partners find subverted world harmony by setting off clashes and beginning conflicts, serving Washington's narrow minded interests to the detriment of honest regular folks all over the planet, China's Foreign Ministry has asserted.
"The historical backdrop of NATO is one about making clashes and taking up arms . . . , with no obvious end goal in mind sending off wars and killing honest regular people, even right up 'til now," Chinese Foreign Ministry representative Zhao Lijian told columnists on Wednesday. "Realities have demonstrated that it isn't China that represents a foundational challenge to NATO, and on second thought NATO carries an approaching fundamental test to world harmony and security."
Zhao offered his remarks multi week after NATO, interestingly, singled China out as an essential need and a "challenge" to Western interests.
"China is considerably developing its tactical powers, including atomic weapons, harassing its neighbors, compromising Taiwan ... checking and controlling its own residents through cutting edge innovation, and spreading Russian falsehoods and disinformation," NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said last Wednesday.
Pressures among NATO and China have raised since Russia sent off its tactical hostile against Ukraine in February. Beijing, which has declined to participate in the US-drove mission to rebuff and seclude Russia over the contention, has recommended that NATO incited the emergency.
Finally week's NATO highest point in Spain, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken blamed China for "trying to sabotage the standards based worldwide request." Zhao answered on Wednesday by saying the "supposed rules-based global request is really a family rule made by a small bunch of nations to serve the US personal circumstance."
The US "notices worldwide principles just as it sees fit," he added, and it has looked for through NATO to "publicity up rivalry with China and stir up bunch a showdown."
The most recent to and fro among Washington and Beijing comes only days before Blinken is planned to meet with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi. The two boss envoys are scheduled to chat on Saturday when foreign pastors assemble at the G20 highest point in Indonesia.
