The Convention People’s Party (CPP) has accused President Akufo-Addo of allowing his friends and family to lead Ghana into the abyss.
The CPP urges the President not to allow those friends and relatives to lead talks with the International Monetary Fund as the country demands bail.
In a statement signed by CPP Secretary-General Nana Yaa Akyempim Jantuah on the government's intention to try to bail out the fund, it said: and friends have failed and put the world in a ditch ".
The group said Ghana, "over time, faced serious economic challenges such as cedi inflation, inflation, rising living costs, rising debt, etc." and noted that "going to the IMF is not a solution but a solution. Government, for lack of ideas. , do you think it is the only solution for the country ”?

INVITATION TO THE COMMUNITY PARTY MEETING (CPP) AT THE NPP GOVERNMENT FINANCIAL CONNECTION IN THE NATIONAL FINANCIAL FUND (IMF)
The Convention People's Party (CPP) is disappointed with the actions of the Government of Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo and Dr Mahmudu Bawumia to turn to the IMF bailout due to the mismanagement of the Ghanaian economy and the inefficiency of the economic management. .
We at the Convention People's Party can say without a hint that the Akuffo Addo-Bawumia government has failed the people of Ghana by escaping their responsibility to ensure the Ghanaian economy is healthy and prosperous, instead, they have squandered it, with no shocks. , buffers or reserves to hold the Economy, indeed a problem never before in the economic history of this country.
The people of Ghana are truly embarrassed and terrified. Ghana has been to the IMF seventeen (17) times and whether the Government of Akuffo Addo and Bawumia believes that this 18th period will create the magic that will save the Ghanaian economy, we at CPP believe that rushing to the IMF is a lazy way to solve the problem, and a temporary solution that will not save our damaged economy.
The CPP thinks it is unfortunate that the Nana Akufo-Bawumia government needs an outside organization such as the IMF to hold them accountable in the financial system where they will be forced to be smart and have a plan that aims to prioritize spending, Nana said. The government led by Akufo-Addo-Bawumia all this time did not know what they were talking about and they were playing with our economy, not caring at all about the effects and consequences of their negligence on the part of South Africans.
Surprisingly, in the midst of such a recession, and the turmoil that plagues the government of Nana Addo-Bawumia is their inability to PURSUIT 8, under certain circumstances, for the people of Ghana is not important but the desire to stay in power is looting, vandalism and looting.
Amid all this poverty, economic stagnation, and poverty have implanted ‘heroic’ Communicators to explain to the people of Ghana the need for us to go to the IMF for bail.
The CPP wants to find out what it has to say, namely incompetence, incompetence, deprivation, looting or contempt for the dignity and well-being of the people of Ghana, who do not know why the Nana Addo-Bawumia government is in power. at the IMF to get bail, everyone knows and we do not need an explanation.
The Akufo-Addo-Bawumia government must stop being a Peacock and face the reality of their actions, it is time to unfairly apologize to the people of Ghana for putting us in this mess and denying all their promises to the people of Ghana.
The IMF is not a delicious Christmas Father and everyone is aware of the difficult, strong, and disgusting situations that come with such plans. In 1983, under the IMF program, all or most of the industries created by Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah under the CPP government were disbanded to be released under the Divestiture Implementation Program. Today, most of them have never survived and our country is still struggling economically and economically.
There is no doubt that the IMF and its programs are neo-colonial, imperialist in nature and, there is no indication of a better life for a Ghanaian but today is when we find ourselves connected and tied to the ropes of the Apron. IMF because someone did not do their job well.
The CPP urges the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia government that any IMF plan they negotiate on behalf of the people of Ghana must have the national interest at heart. It should be the one that will develop and uplift the people of Ghana economically, not the poor.
We at the Convention People’s Party call on the Government to prioritize the best economic team to negotiate with the IMF on behalf of Ghana, so that the country can get the best deal in the country. The Team should look at terms and conditions that can help the country become an industry, job creation and exports campaign.
There should also be a dialogue window where social programs such as FREE SHS, etc., will adapt to the economic situation we are facing As the government goes to the IMF to rescue, we believe it is time to end the penalty tax. call on the E-Levy to pave the way for realistic and practical ways to raise national currency.
We ask the Honorable Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo that in this matter, she does not depend on her family and friends to do the job. Indeed his family and friends have failed to put the world in a ditch.
Ghana, over time, is facing a difficult economy
