Chelsea are yet to sign their first player this season but that could not halt their preseason matches as they have confirmed their fourth preseason match against Udinese.

Chelsea will face Udinese in pre-season on Friday, July 29th, following the conclusion of their pre-season tour of the United States.

Thomas Tuchel's team will depart for America on Saturday for a two-week trip that will include three matches.

They'll spend a week in Los Angeles training before heading to Las Vegas, Charlotte, and Orlando.

Club America, Charlotte FC, and Arsenal will be their opponents as the Blues prepare for the 2022/23 season, which begins against Everton on Saturday, August 6th.

Chelsea have now confirmed a fourth game for Tuchel's team, which will take place a week before the start of the season.

At 8 p.m., they will face Udinese at the Dacia Arena in Italy, a 25,000-seater stadium (UK).

After returning from the United States, the boys will continue their pre-season preparations with a trip to Udinese.

The Blues will play Club America in their preseason opener on July 16, followed by Charlotte FC four days later on July 20 as they travel from west to east coast.

Arsenal will be their final opponent in Orlando on July 23, bringing their US tour to a close as they fly back to England.

A transfer fee is all that is left to be agreed and that is hoped to be finalised and completed before they jet off to the States.

Chelsea have returned to their Cobham training facility to begin pre-season.

Tuchel returned to the team on Monday, after the first group of players returned last Friday.

They were joined by N'Golo Kante, the first of the big stars to return from international duty in June, with the rest expected to return later this week.

Tuchel and his team have had a difficult start to the Premier League, and they will be eager to get off to a winning start against Frank Lampard's side.

Tuchel's starting lineup is still unknown, with pre-season expected to be the time when he determines which returning loanees will be part of his plans for the upcoming season.
