There is no doubt that the 2022 Robert Lewandowski transfer saga has been a shambles. From Lewandowski's public protests about how Bayern Munich is holding him hostage to Bayern's statements that the Polish striker will finish his contract, it hasn't been ideal for either party. Barcelona is interested in the legendary striker but has not met Bayern's asking price.

Robert Lewandowski's agent, Pini Zahavi, recently told Brazzo that he would like to serve as a mediator between the two clubs. Bayern expects Lewandowski to return to training next week, but it's clear that Lewandowski wants his time with the club to be over.

Furthermore, Bild reported that Lewandowski's camp is not expecting a new bid from FC Barcelona. In fact, Lewandowski's representatives are hoping that Bayern Munich will simply decide to sell the player rather than wait for what they believe to be a fair offer.

With the training date fast approaching, the next week will be critical in Lewandowski's career in Munich. Should he remain or should he leave?
