Chelsea Football Club is looking to add to their squad after finishing third in the Barclay Premier League and being eliminated in the UEFA Champions League quarter final stage last season.
To add to the above deficiencies, Antonio Rudiger has left the defense, and Andreas Christensen, Cesar Azpilicueta, and Marcos Alonso are all interested in leaving the club.
The good news is that the club's transfer ban has been lifted, and some news reports claim that new owner Todd Boehly has delegated transfer responsibilities to head coach Thomas Tuchel.
The bad news is that the Chelsea coach is interested in some Premier League strikers who may not add much to the Chelsea squad next season.
While Manchester City, who won the Barclay Premier League, has already signed Erling Halaand and Liverpool is looking to sign Darwin Nunez, Chelsea is heavily linked with Gabriel Jesus and Richarlison.
Chelsea already has a player in Armando Broja who is on the same level as the two strikers linked with a move to Chelsea. According to reports, Thomas Tuchel may sell the youngster to West Ham United in order to make room for Jesus and Richarlison.
It could be a clear error on the part of head coach Thomas Tuchel, as signing the aforementioned strikers will leave them trailing Manchester City and Liverpool; more painfully, he may live to regret selling Armando Broja.

Chelsea fans believe they have found the next Jack Grealish after seeing photos of Leo Castledine during pre-season training.
The 17-year-old is just one of many young players who will have the opportunity to shine in front of Thomas Tuchel ahead of the new season. The Blues' academy has produced a number of top players in recent years, and Castledine could be the next.
While Mason Mount and Reece James are key players at Stamford Bridge, the next generation is already looking forward to their chances in the upcoming Premier League season.
There have been flashes of brilliance from players such as Lewis Hall and Harvey Vale, the latter of whom helped England's Under-19 team win the Euros this summer.
Castledine, who joined from AFC Wimbledon as a 15-year-old, could be the next big thing. The teenager has impressed coaches with his technique and skill as an attacking midfielder who can also play on the wing.
It's not surprising to see comparisons to Manchester City and England star Jack Grealish, but it goes beyond playing style and position. Fans saw the youngster in action during Chelsea training, and many were perplexed as to why the former Aston Villa ace was in Chelsea colors.
