Morgan O'Sullivan, a Liverpool fan, weighs in on all the latest Reds news as Jürgen Klopp's team continues their pre-season preparations for the new season.

Liverpool returned to pre-season training this week and will play their first summer friendlies in Asia next week, after flying out for their overseas tour over the weekend.

As the summer progresses and the season opener against Fulham approaches, we asked Liverpool fan Morgan O'Sullivan a few questions about the Reds.

Mohamed Salah's signing of a new contract last week sparked a flood of emotions. The prospect of our new front three, Luis Daz, Darwin Nez, and Salah, sparked excitement.

The brilliant way it was announced on social media caused laughter. There was relief that he had chosen us over another Premier League team. Most importantly, it put an end to a year-long saga that had garnered so many headlines and panic.

And now it's finally over! It has certainly made the start of the season more exciting.

The pre-season has begun. Which players must impress Jürgen Klopp the most in the coming weeks as the season begins, and who do you believe will rise through the ranks?

Curtis Jones is in for a big season this year. With a strong preseason, I believe he will emerge as one of those players on whom we will become increasingly reliant as the season progresses.

He now has a strong foundation of experience behind him. A strong, injury-free run is critical. He has the opportunity to establish himself as a member of the team for many years to come.

Harvey Elliott is another player who will look to improve this year. He has the experience of having been a teacher after his injury.

I believe Daz will advance to the next level in the upcoming season. He had a fantastic start, but I believe that after a strong preseason, he will add a lot more goals to his game.

The first pre-season games are approaching, with Manchester United and Crystal Palace meeting next week. Are you ready to start a new campaign?

Are you prepared for the new campaign? To be honest, I'm still 15 minutes away from winning the championship and a post away from winning the Champions League final.

The nerves and stress at the end of last season were as intense as they have ever been for a Liverpool fan. There was no respite, and it was magnificent. I'm still recovering.

Jude Bellingham is still being linked, but a move before next summer is highly unlikely. Are you satisfied with the transfer window at this point? What difference would a midfield signing make?

We are unlikely to sign anyone else before the end of the season. The Jude Bellingham situation, on the other hand, has me scratching my head. His head is said to be worth £103 million. With another season ahead of him and a World Cup to showcase his abilities, surely the only way for his price to rise is up?

I believe another season at Dortmund would be beneficial for him, but we risk having to pay an additional £20-30 million next summer, when competition for his signature could be fierce. Only time will tell what happens next.
