Klopp ‘really surprised’ by £64m Liverpool star Nunez – player likened to ex-Man Utd attacker

According to reports, Jurgen Klopp was "very astonished" by Darwin Nunez's contribution for Benfica against Liverpool in the Champions League last year.

 

In recent seasons, Nunez has established himself as one of Europe's top goal scorers.

 

He scored 34 goals for Benfica last season in 41 games played in all competitions.

 

In the Champions League knockout rounds, he scored twice against Liverpool.
