Tyler Adams was reunited with Leeds manager Jesse Marsch after completing a reported £20-million move
USA international Tyler Adams was reunited with Leeds director Jesse Marsch subsequent to finishing a detailed £20-million move from RB Leipzig on Wednesday.Adams previously played under his comrade at both New York Red Bulls and Leipzig.The 23-year-old is supposed to fill the job cleared by Kalvin Phillips following his transition to Manchester City.
"I'm super invigorated," Adams told LUTV. "Conversing with my friends who have played in the Premier League, they say it's quite possibly of the best atmosphere they have at any point played in."Now to have those fans supporting me, being something special is going."
Adams made his Major League Soccer debut as a young person under Marsch in 2016 preceding moving to Europe three years after the fact with Leipzig, where the Leeds boss was assistant to Ralf Rangnick prior to taking on the senior job.
He showed up for Leipzig, most notably scoring the victor in the Champions League quarterfinal triumph over Atletico Madrid in 2020.He joins his international colleague Brenden Aaronson, who joined last month from one more of Marsch's previous clubs Red Bull Salzburg.Leeds have also signed Darko Gyabi, Rasmus Kristensen and Marc Roca as they hope to stay away from another Premier League transfer fight after barely staying away from the drop last season.
