Joan Laporta opens up on Barcelona's quest for Robert Lewandowski
Barcelona have authoritatively introduced new marking Andreas Christensen at the Ciutat Esportiva. The Danish place back joins the club on a free exchange from Chelsea on an arrangement that will take him through to the mid year of 2026. His delivery condition is €500m.
Christensen, 26, was brought into the world in Lillerod in Denmark and made his most memorable strides as a footballer with Skjold Birkerod prior to moving forward to Brondby and afterward, in 2012, Chelsea. He made his senior presentation two years after the fact yet didn't set up a good foundation for himself in the primary group until he got back from a two-year credit at Borussia Monchengladbach. From that point forward he's shown up for the West London club.
Christensen, who's procured 57 covers for the Danish public group, carries quality to Barcelona's backline. He joins a generally solid list including Gerard Pique, Eric Garcia and Ronald Araujo - with another middle back expected to come in, as well. Barcelona have a 13 direct hole toward make up to Real Madrid.
Joan Laporta, during the show, was gotten some information about the possibility that the explanation Bayern Munich will not acknowledge additional items for Robert Lewandowski from Barcelona was on the grounds that the German club were uncertain they would be around to pay them in a couple of years.
"I don't completely accept that them, I think it came from a talk and it was just a joke," Laporta said as conveyed by Mundo Deportivo. "That doesn't come from Bayern. We're going to commend our 125th commemoration and there are not many with our set of experiences.
"You realize that we have made a proposal for Lewandowski and we're looking out for Bayern's reaction. I need to thank the player for the work he's made to come. They're assessing the deal and we're hanging tight for the reaction."
