CHELSEA OWNER TODD BOEHLY HAS LANDED IN BARCELONA FOR MEETING

CHELSEA owner Todd Boehly has reportedly landed in Barcelona as he prepares to hijack Man Utd's bid to sign Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong. 

 

 The Red Devils seemed close to a move for the Dutchman after weeks of speculation. 

 

 But now video of Boehly at Barcelona has surfaced on social media amid reports that Chelsea will move on. 56 million. 

 

 Boehly went to a restaurant in the Spanish city for a meeting and Barça president Joan Laporta was spotted in the same bar with club bosses Jordi Cruyff and Mateu Alemán.

When asked by a Cope reporter why he was at Barca, Boehly smiled and replied: "We're here to eat." Just yesterday, Laporta insisted De Jong would stay at the club. 

 

 He was quoted as saying: "Frenkie is not for sale. He's a Barcelona player." 

 

 Then he added: “There are offers, but it's not like that [he's going].We don't want to sell." 

 

 But De Jong's deal is just one of several deals expected to be discussed between Barcelona and Chelsea.

 According to Fabrizio Romano, Barça want to finalize Azpilicueta's signing as soon as possible 

 

 They are ready , to offer the 32-year-old a two-year contract with an option for another season.Personal terms have been agreed between Barcelona and Azpilicueta and Alonso. 

 However, the Spanish giants are unwilling to pay a hefty fee for the players as the pair are out of contract next summer.
