Here are the top Wolves news stories for July 8th.

For the season, Wolverhampton Wanderers are prepared to loan out Fabio Silva, their record acquisition.

Silva, who paid a club record £35 million to join Wolves from FC Porto in 2020, is anticipated to join Anderlecht on loan for the 2022–2023 season. For the remainder of his stay in Belgium, Anderlecht will pay Silva's full wage; however, there will be no opportunity to purchase the striker as part of the agreement.

The 19-year-old made 22 Premier League appearances last season but failed to register a goal, even if the majority of those were as a substitute. Bruno Lage utilized him very little in the first half of the season.

Although Silva started to challenge Raul Jimenez for a starting spot as his performances improved in the second half of the season, his record in his two seasons at Molineux is dismal. Silva has only scored four goals in 62 games with Wolves.

Silva will now be loaned to Belgium for the next stage of his growth since Fosun is keen for him to succeed. Anderlecht often competes in European play and finished third in the Belgian league previous season.

With Silva's impending departure, Lage's squad will only have Jimenez as a senior center-forward for Wolves. Both Patrick Cutrone and Leo Bonatini, who were on loan at Empoli and Grasshoppers respectively, have returned to Wolves, are no longer needed.

Reflects the Wolves' spell, Vitinha

Big money Signed for Paris Saint-Germain According to Vitinha, he "wouldn't alter anything" about his time spent with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Portuguese midfielder spent a whole year on loan at Wolves in the 2020–21 campaign, however Nuno Espirito Santo hardly used him. Vitinha only made five Premier League starts, with his most memorable moment while wearing a Wolves jersey being a fantastic winner in the FA Cup triumph over Chorley.

Vitinha returned to his original club Porto last summer after Wolves denied the option to permanently sign him for €20 million. The 22-year-old, who just received the league's young player of the year award, assisted Porto in capturing the Primeira Liga championship.

Vitinha was acquired by PSG for €40 million (£34 million) from Porto. After signing the French champions, the former Wolves loanee will start next season with Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, and Neymar.

And Vitinha maintains that the learning curve he went through at Molineux was essential to his decision to join PSG. You can say that, because I didn't leave my mark, Vitinha stated in an interview with the French publication RMC. I didn't play with Wolves very often. Thus, we can state that. However, I thought it was excellent. It brought me things that, if I hadn't gone, I probably wouldn't have had.

"I developed a lot, both on and off the field, learning new skills and experiencing what it's like to play for a club outside of your own country and comfort zone. I wouldn't make any changes if I could go back in time. Because I came here for that reason and have a lot more extensive history.

Myth of Adama debunked

Following his return to Wolverhampton Wanderers for preseason, Adama Traore is grinning once more.

After his loan stint at his hometown club Barcelona came to an end, Traore returned to Wolves' Compton Park training facility for ten days. The Wolves hierarchy and Traore had hoped that his loan to Barcelona would turn into a permanent arrangement, but that is no longer an option.

Wolves are in a very tricky situation with Traore, whose contract at Molineux expires next summer, given there is no purchase obligation under that specific loan agreement. Traore has turned down many contract offers, so a significant U-turn is required for his Wolves career to continue through next May.

Traore has complete control over the situation. Traore will likely have bigger offers on the table the next summer if he completes the remaining months of his Wolves deal.
