According to reports, CHELSEA is interested in signing Cristiano Ronaldo.
After successfully offloading Romelu Lukaku last week, Chelsea is now in a position to move on, but their futile pursuit of Cristiano Ronaldo suggests that the Londoners haven't learnt anything from their costly transfer error. Less than a year after the Blues spent a club-record £97.5 million to bring Lukaku back to the city for a second stint, he was released.

Even if Ronaldo were to be the star summer acquisition that the Blues' new co-owner Todd Boehly so much wants, it would not make sense for him to consent to what would be a terrifyingly similar situation this year.
