Speaking for the third time in a series of town hall meetings in the capital of the North Tamama region in February, Mr Ofori-Atta said: “… I can tell you, as my partner Deputy Minister said, we are not going to the IMF; whatever we do, we are not; bad results, we are a proud nation, we have resources, we are strong ”.

Commenting on the change of events on Thursday, July 7, 2022, Kweku Baako said: “I have always had a problem with the IMF and let me tell you the truth: while it is a government right to choose that, I feel that. I am ashamed ”.
"I remember in 2015, I felt the same way even though I made it clear that it was the government's right to do so but I regretted it in 2009," recalls Mr Baako.
“Therefore, it is not good enough and we will not be able to keep going and every time we take a plan, we seem to be successful in implementing this plan and within three to four years, we are back to normal; it doesn't make sense. It does not make Ghana proud, ”Kweku Baako told Accra-based Metro TV.
