Manchester United may need to alter their summer replacement plans for Cristiano Ronaldo.
Jose Mourinho, Manchester United's former manager, has seriously cast doubt on their strategy to replace Cristiano Ronaldo. According to reports, Mourinho is eager to bring Paulo Dybala to Roma, a player United is interested in.
Due to his contract expiring, Dybala departed Juventus and is now a free agent. The Argentinean international has been associated with Inter Milan.
Romelu Lukaku, though, was just re-signed by Inter on a loan from Chelsea. As a result, the Serie A powerhouses don't require a forward as much as they formerly did.
Dybala was a potential replacement for United's top player Ronaldo, who has informed the team he wants to depart this summer. Mourinho, however, has the ability to ruin any preparations the Red Devils make.

According to the Italian publication Corriere dello Sport, Mourinho is working hard to get a deal done and wants to take Dybala on a free transfer to Roma. According to the source, the 28-year-old would right away establish himself as a pillar of Mourinho's team.
However, in order to accommodate Dybala's hefty salary demands, Roma would probably need to sell first. This summer, Juventus' primary aim is Nicolo Zaniolo, who would fetch at least £34.2 million.
But it would deal United's summer transfer plans yet another setback. Tyrell Malacia, a left-back from Holland, was Erik ten Hag's lone acquisition to date. Tyrell Malacia cost £13 million.

He is interested in signing Frenkie de Jong of Barcelona as well as the Ajax combo Lisandro Martinez and Antony. Dealing for the latter, though, appears to have halted as Barcelona is desperate to keep the midfielder.
The majority of Dybala's professional playing career to date has taken place in Italy. In 2012, he transferred from Argentine team Instituto to Palermo.
He played for Juve for seven years, making nearly 300 appearances across all leagues and scoring 115 goals. He tried to get the Old Lady to sign a new contract, but she refused.
Due to Roma's interest in Dybala, United may need to explore elsewhere for a Ronaldo replacement. According to Rangers veteran Ally McCoist, manager Ten Hag may benefit from the forward's departure.
He stated to SPORT: "He'll probably like it. Ten Hag should be given enough time to get things going at Old Trafford, in my opinion.
"In the long run, he wants to assemble a team that can play in the Champions League and contend for England's top division. Ronaldo won't participate in that.
"Now 37, he. He has made it clear that he wants to leave Manchester United, which indicates that he is not dedicated to the cause. That is a little bit disheartening in and of itself."
