Frenkie de Jong wants to remain at Barcelona this summer, according to Ronald Koeman, who has reiterated this belief.
Manchester United designated De Jong as a top target for the transfer window and achieved an agreement in principle with the cash-strapped Catalans over his signing after appointing Erik ten Hag as their new manager. The price agreed upon between those teams was €65 million (£56.14 million).
That was verified at the same time that United and Feyenoord reached an agreement regarding Tyrell Malacia. The Netherlands' superstar has subsequently signed a contract for a transfer worth €15 million (£12.9 million), and she has also partnered with United for their preseason tour, but De Jong and Barcelona are still being slow to move.
