In light of Manchester United's interest in signing RB Leipzig striker Brian Brobbey, the former manager Erik ten Hag has already made light of the notion of them reuniting at Old Trafford.
This summer, Ten Hag is keen in bringing the Dutchman to Old Trafford, as the Manchester Evening News reported on Friday. Together they worked at Ajax, and after transferring to Leipzig in July 2021, Brobbey returned on loan to the club last year.
Youngster Brobbey, 20, left Ajax for Leipzig but failed to adapt to life in Germany; as a result, he was loaned back to Ajax in December. When he returned to the Johan Cruyff Arena after a six-month loan with them, he left a lasting impression by scoring seven goals in just 11 Eredivisie games.

The kid, known for his strength and speed, is reportedly free to leave Leipzig this summer after failing to integrate into German society. Ten Hag is rumored to be enthusiastic about the notion of bringing him to England in light of this.
Furthermore, if United were to support Ten Hag in this position, Brobbey might be persuaded to leave for Old Trafford. He is a tremendous fan of his previous manager and joked that he would like to join him in M16 after it was announced in April that Ten Hag would take over as United's next manager.
At a news conference in April, Brobbey said, "I am really thrilled for him and he definitely deserves it after everything he has done for Ajax." If only he would take me along in two years... no, no... just kidding!
Whether Brobbey was joking or not, Ten Hag has figured out how to bring the best out of the striker, so if the Reds make their approach, the chance to work with him once more might be too much for him to pass up. Ten Hag oversaw the first-team ranks at Ajax while Brobbey went through the youth system there, thus the latter is well-versed in him.
Despite his difficulties in Germany, he does well when working with Ten Hag.
In 32 senior games for Ajax over two stints, he totaled 13 goals.
