Hearts of Oak players don't smoke - Ex-group administrator

Previous Hearts of Oak group administrator, W.O. Tandoh, has excused claims recommending that players have been taking part in smoking and drinking when games.

 

Dr Nyaho Tamakloe, who is a board individual from the club, blamed the players for taking part in the expressed demonstration during a meeting with Asempa FM on the Ultimate Sports Show.

 

"I have taken care of Hearts of Oak for north of 50 years and I can smell and see indiscipline. I have more than once conversed with the mentor even freely at Board gatherings that he is the general supervisor of the club," he said.

 

"However, there has been a great deal of occurrences, for example, breaking of camp and players going to drink and smoke before they come when they have a match the next day. A few players drink and smoke before games and that is the justification behind our disappointment," he added.

 

Nonetheless, Mr Tandoh has excused the reports yet conceded that there has been an instance of indiscipline at the camp of the camp yet added that the players don't take part in smoking and drinking.

"It is never a fact that Hearts of Oak players have been taking part in smoking and drinking when games," he said on Asempa FM.

 

"There were not many instances of indiscipline at the camp of the group yet it was settled at a point. At times, I report the instance of indiscipline to the load up yet some of the time I neglect to act.

 

"I have never seen a Hearts of Oak player smoking previously or after games," he added.

 

Hearts of Oak completed the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season at the sixth situation with 48 places however safeguarded the FA Cup.
