I'm disheartened - Addai Nimo on passing up Akufo-Addo's arrangement [Listen]
Previous New Patriotic (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Mampong Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Francis Addai Nimo, has said he is disheartened for not being offered an arrangement by President Akufo-Addo.
Talking on Asempa FM's Ekosii Sen show Thursday, the flagbearer confident about the NPP said albeit the President offered him an arrangement in government, the occupation was not upheld by the law.
As per him, he was just offered an arrangement as a manager of Road Fund during a conversation with the President and caused him to notice the way that the Road Fund isn't similar to District Assemblies Common Fund where he can choose an overseer.
"With the Road Fund, arrangements are made for the Chief Director of the Ministry of Roads and Highways to deal with the assets straightforwardly.
"But since of his tight timetable as a top government employee, he is permitted to select any of his subordinates to deal with the Roads Funds and report to the Chief Director who will thusly answer to the clergyman," Addai-Nimo made sense of.

"Subsequent to clarifying for the president, he then concurred with me and said he will search for one more empty situation for myself and I haven't heard from him from that point forward, I am frustrated yet not harsh in the wake of being censured," he added.
This in any case, he showed his preparation to answer the President when he is called upon to serve in the ongoing government.
Mr Addai-Nimo further noticed that it will be totally off-base to accept he has denied a proposal to serve in government since he challenged the party's official primaries in 2014 which saw President Akufo-Addo arise successful.
