Thomas Strakosha, a former goalkeeper for Lazio, has been offered a contract by Manchester United, and is being considered as a possible replacement for Dean Henderson.

Thomas Strakosha has been made available to Manchester United.

The former Lazio goalie had discussions with Chelsea and Fulham.

However, a transfer to Old Trafford to replace David de Gea seems imminent.

Thomas Strakosha, a free agent goalkeeper, has been made available to Manchester United. United has loaned Dean Henderson to Nottingham Forest for the upcoming season.

The international from Albania who departed Lazio last month had already spoken with Chelsea and Fulham.

As they search for a Dean Henderson replacement, it appears that the Red Devils are most likely to sign the 27-year-old this summer.

Thomas Strakosha, a free agent goalie, has been offered the chance to join Manchester United.

Thomas Tuchel saw Strakosha as a potential replacement for Kepa Arrizabalaga should the goalkeeper leave the club, and the two had been in talks with Chelsea about a possible transfer.

However, it appears that United will succeed in signing the 27-year-old after close negotiations on the goalkeeper's personal terms.

Following the season-long loan of Dean Henderson to Nottingham Forest as he seeks to get Premier League experience, United will require a backup for David de Gea.

Over the course of his seven seasons with the team, the 27-year-old made 208 appearances for Lazio.

Dean Henderson was looking for regular football after having trouble getting playing time the previous season.

The sole new player for the Red Devils when they arrived in Thailand for preseason training was defender Tyrell Malacia, who cost £14.6 million.

United has stepped up their chase of Lisandro Martinez by submitting an enhanced bid of £43 million for the Ajax center defender in the hopes that Christian Eriksen will pass a medical in time to join the tour's Australia leg.

Although it first appeared that negotiations with Barcelona on top transfer target Frenkie de Jong had advanced, it is reported that no more progress has been achieved.
