Liverpool would attempt to sign a "top quality" midfielder for £50.8 million

Liverpool scored only 5 goals less than league leaders Man City last season and had the greatest defensive record in the Premier League.

The Reds have improved their offense with the additions of Darwin Nunez and Fabio Carvalho during the current transfer window while also strengthening their defense by bringing in Calvin Ramsay.

But under Jurgen Klopp's leadership, the midfield has been our driving force, and the division needs to be strengthened as well.

Henderson gives everything he has on the field, but his stamina isn't what it once was, and Thiago has a history of serious injuries. Milner's contract is merely a stopgap measure. Only 17 of the games the Spaniard started in  the PL last term and missed 11 fixtures due to fitness concerns

We still haven't found a replacement for Gini Wijnaldum, our fittest midfielder, and we're also lacking a guy who can consistently score and set up goals from the middle.

Our best-scoring midfielder in the league last year was the Brazilian playmaker Fabinho (5 goals), while Henderson, our captain, was the top assist producer (5 assists).

Despite the attention given to Bellingham, rumors claim that this summer's plans do not include signing the £103 million-rated youngster (Liverpool Echo). Additionally, Dortmund is hesitant to part with him after losing Haaland.

Stars, including Firmino and Diaz, resume preseason training.

For the upcoming season, we need to add a talented and motivated midfielder, and Segej Milinkovic-Savic is one of the best available players.

The Serbian representative was the most creative midfielder in the Serie A last term. Under Sarri, he made 37 competition appearances and was directly responsible for 22 goals (11 goals and 11 assists).

The Merseysiders apparently wanted to give 70–80 million euros last year, but they decided against it since Lazio wanted 100 million euros (Calcio Mercato).

The former star of Genk has received high praise from Arsenal icon Paul Merson, who said (The Daily Star): "Savic is a lovely player. a player of the highest caliber. Personally, I believe he is the best midfield player in Italy based on how he performed for Lazio last season.

I am aware that Manchester United has previously been associated with him, but I don't understand why more teams aren't waiting in line to sign the Serbian.

After 7 years with the Italian team, the 27-year-old, who is at the top of his career, wants to go on. La Gazzetta Dello Sport stated last month that Lazio president Lotito values the midfielder at 80 million euros, but that he can sell the prized asset for about 60 million euros (£50.8 million) if the club's financial condition improves quickly.
