Manchester United FC's pre-season has begun, and their talisman and club legend, Christiano Ronaldo, has been absent from the first day of training in England.
They will travel to Thailand for pre-season, and Chelsea, their London rivals, have expressed a strong interest in signing Ronaldo.
Ronaldo and the F.C. London Chelsea have agreed on a player and club agreement, but Chelsea F.C has made no move to sign Christiano Ronaldo from Manchester United.
Ronaldo was spotted looking for a place to rent in London. This has heightened speculation about his possible transfer to Chelsea.
Conversations between the two are said to have continued since, with Boehly and his fellow director, Behdad Eghbali, said to be intrigued by the idea of hiring such an iconic figure.
If the idea becomes a real possibility, Chelsea will have to consider a number of factors. Money is unlikely to be an issue, but manager Thomas Tuchel's wishes will be crucial.

Chelsea FC recently unveiled their new home kit for the 2022/2023 Premier League season, just days before their preseason game on July 16. The Blues included almost all of the club's players in the photoshoot, including Trevoh Chalobah, Mason Mount, Reece James, Sam Kerr, and Lauren James.
Thomas Tuchel's side has joined the ranks of top Premier League clubs such as Liverpool, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, and Arsenal in releasing their home kits for next season, with less than a month until the league begins in August.
Chelsea's kit reveal today indicates that the club has increased its preparations for next season, with only a few signings left before the transfer window closes. Already, the club has completed their first summer signing, Manchester City's Raheem Sterling.
Chelsea is close to paying £45 million for the Englishman, with Thomas Tuchel looking forward to having him in his squad, with personal terms now agreed between both parties.
Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo, who has been left out of the club's preseason tours this week, is also on Chelsea's radar, with the club preparing a €15 million bid to submit to the Red Devils, according to SkySports.
The Blues are also keeping an eye on Juventus' Matthijs De Ligt, but a strong rival in the form of Bayern Munich could end up signing him, which is why Chelsea isn't interested in the 22-year-old Dutch center back. Despite Juventus' high asking price, Chelsea's board has not ruled out a summer move for him.
