Pep always plays with his three preferred midfielders, even when playing against teams from League 2. As a result, the rest are just bench warmers.
City will win the Champions League soon. When they get the first, they'll start dominating as well. They have so much talent and consistency that they never change managers and don't waste money (unlike PSG). I'm not a fan of the city, just a neutral.
Chelsea, for example, has a better midfield with Kante, Kovacic, Jorginho, Gallagher, Gilmour, Loftus-Cheek, Mason Mount, and Kai Havertz. This would undoubtedly be very competitive as well. The mistake Pep is making will catch up with him in some way, which is why he is selling Sterling while keeping ineffective and inefficient Grelish. Pep, on the other hand, only clashes with opposing players.
I'm still perplexed as to why these clubs don't have wage caps in place. The wealthy owners use their money to run the club, whereas other clubs must rely on ticket sales and sponsorship. As it stands, the teams to win the EPL are City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Newcastle, and Manchester United, with Tottenham. Other teams were just making up numbers, Leicester City was a one-time phenomenon, and it's difficult to compete with these teams' spending power.

According to ex-Liverpool star Cristiano Ronaldo, Thomas Tuchel's Stamford Bridge squad is more successful than Erik ten Hag's at Old Trafford, and the two will work well together if the Blues sign the Portuguese superstar from Manchester United this summer.
That's the opinion of former Nottingham Forest, Liverpool, and Aston Villa striker Stan Collymore, who believes Ronaldo would be a great addition to the Blues alongside Raheem Sterling from Manchester City.
"Ronaldo does not fit with United's evolution, there is no doubt about that," Collymore said. That's why I've been saying for months that they should get rid of him this summer. But he'd be a perfect fit for Chelsea, and I could easily see him scoring and assisting Raheem Sterling.
Ronaldo is a fitness freak and a top-tier player, and his pushing of individuals would get the most out of a squad that is far more balanced and prepared for success than the United team he wants to leave. Chelsea have had plenty of big-name players in the past, and being in that part of south-west London would suit him perfectly.
There's no doubt that people like Mason Mount and Reece James would benefit greatly from working with him." The capital, London, would be a breath of fresh air for Ronaldo. If Chelsea can secure a deal for him, it will be a win-win situation for both parties." Chelsea have allowed Romelu Lukaku to rejoin Inter Milan on a season-long loan.
The transfer is a good bit of business all around for City, Chelsea, and Sterling," he added. City receives a sizable sum of money, Chelsea receives a proven winner, and the player receives a return to his home city and the opportunity to play for a club where he is a little more the main man than he was at his previous one. There are parallels between Sadio Mane's decision to leave Liverpool for Bayern Munich and Sterling's decision.
I don't get the impression Sterling feels he has been as appreciated at City as he could have been." Kevin De Bruyne will be the main man at the Etihad Stadium for as long as he is there. And
