Chelsea is undergoing significant changes under the new management of Todd Boelhy.

With the departures of Lukaku, Christiansen, and Antonio Rudiger, the Blues will have a new look next season.

Meanwhile, the London club is still linked to other big names, such as Cristiano Ronaldo, who wants to play for a Champions League club.

A look at Chelsea's potential starting XI next season if all of their summer targets are signed suggests Thomas Tuchel's side could be a force to be reckoned with.

In terms of major changes, the London outfit has arguably been the busiest in recent months, with a number of exits including former owner Roman Abramovic.

This summer has also seen the departures of Romelu Lukaku, Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen, and Saul Niguez from the club.

Other players could follow suit, with Barcelona keen on Marcos Alonso.

Although there have been no official new signings, several players are expected to join Chelsea this summer.

Notably, as of Friday, July 8, Raheem Sterling is no longer a Chelsea player, with Manchester City eager to offload the winger, who has one year left on his contract.

Sterling's acquisition will undoubtedly benefit Tuchel's team, as he is only 27 years old and has plenty of goals and assists in him.

How can Chelsea prepare for the upcoming season?

According to reports, Chelsea are in pole position to sign Matthijs de Ligt, despite the fact that the Dutch defender has two years left on his contract, which also includes a £103 million release clause.

More shockingly, Cristiano Ronaldo has been linked with a move to Chelsea, as the Manchester United legend is unsteady at Old Trafford.

Ronaldo is set to miss the first leg of Manchester United's pre-season tour due to "family reasons.

With Ronaldo's future uncertain and Chelsea in need of a natural goalscorer following Lukaku's departure, it's not difficult to imagine him in the famous blue shirt.

If all of Chelsea's summer plans go as planned, this is how they could line up next season:

Mendy (GK), Thiago Silva, De Ligt, Reece James, Ben Chilwell, N'golo Kante, Matteo Kovacic, Kai Havertz, Cristiano Ronaldo, Raheem Sterling are the first team.

Second team: Kepa (GK), Trevoh Chalobah, Ethan Ampadu, Ceasar Azpilicueta, Ian Ethan Maatsen, Christian Pulisic, Broja, Timo Werner.
