Two bar shootings, one in a municipality near Johannesburg and one more in eastern South Africa, left 19 dead, police said on Sunday.
In Soweto, 15 individuals were killed after as they partook in an evening out on the town, police said, when attackers drew up in a minibus taxi and started haphazardly terminating at bar benefactors.
In the eastern city of Pietermaritzburg, police detailed four individuals were killed and eight injured during a shootout in a bar after two men terminated discriminately at clients.
Police sources said it was too soon to say assuming the attacks were somehow or another associated however noticed their closeness.
In Soweto, Johannesburg's biggest municipality toward the southwest of South Africa's monetary capital, police were called to the scene not long after 12 PM.
