WAYOOSI ON HOW HE SUFFERED WHEN HIS TWO KIDNEYS STOPPED FUNCTIONING

Ghanaian actor Joseph Odei popularly known as Wayoosi revealed the thoughtful act that the ex president of Ghana John Mahama did for him once he was confined to bed by speaking concerning it during a recent interview.

When he was hospitalized at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, the National Democratic Congress flagbearer reportedly sent a donation to him through Elizabeth Ofosu-Agyare, who served as Ghana’s Minister of artistic Arts and business enterprise.

According to Wayoosi, he was on the verge of kicking of the bucket once the previous President made the gifts that ultimately saved his life. Aside that, John Mahama promised to fly him to an European country  for a kidney transplant if the Ghanaian doctors fail to get him better.

Wayoosi is for certain that his message would get across to John Mahama, (the ex president of Ghana) since he utilised this specific technique. 

Wayoosi said he was very pessimistic about surviving the kidney disease he suffered.

As stated by Waylosi, at the time, he was told both kidneys weren’t  functioning properly and had to be put on dialysis.

In an interview on Pure FM in Kumasi, Wayoosi stated that he did not want his family to struggle financially to pay his medical bills, paired with the pain he was going through, he prayed to God to take his life away.

The actor divulged that he had to be put on dialysis three times every week.  He added that one dialysis costs GH¢1,000 at the time, thus he paid GH¢3000 weekly.

Wayoosi doubted if he could make it considering the kind of assist he needed to survive.

He disclosed that he woke up from coma to see Lord Kenya praying for him by his bed. The actor said he was then in a ward where doctors did not permit visitors. 

So, he was surprised to see the former Hiplife artiste turned a man of God praying for him.

He added that Lord Kenya, told him he would live to share his testimony.

The actor said he was thankful but the dialysis did go on for a while until his doctor decided to discharge him.
