Yesterday's Newsfile on Joy News Flagship programme Newsfile was rather disconcerting and Fascinating as the Host failed to give equal opportunity for the Government representative in the person of Lawyer Alexander Afenyo-Markin, Member of Parliament constituency, Central region who is also a ranking member of the interior committee adequately time to respond to the issues raised by the other panel members as the Host continue interrupting him.

The Host Samson Lardy started a program with a presentation from Bright simons and Theo Acheampong for about an hour then John Abu Jinapor was given an uninterrupted session for his submission but the rule was different for Hon. Alexander Afenyo-Markin to a point where he has to prompt the host of his constant interruptions

Samson kept interjecting the Honourable submission with questions and at times Mr Markin felt he was taking his words out of context. The show's main topic was the decision of the Government to seek a bailout from the International Monetary Fund

On two occasions the host cut Mr Afenyo-Markin's presentation to go on break and another to bring in another panellist while he was not allowed to land on his submission.During the discussion, Afenyo Markin became irritated with the presenter as he gave the impression that the NPP government went to IMF as their last resort but sadly  he fail to provide Afenyo Markin with the opportunity to completely express his opinion as he had given others

Lawmaker though he registered his displeasure on the negative impression  by stating "I haven't said what you are saying. What is am saying is that going to the IMF means going with your program and getting the best solution out of it for your own country"

"You are likely to rhetorical pick things out of context and create a certain impression. You have not allowed me to flow on my submissions" he said

Ghanaians have reacted to this; others believe the Host intentional ignored the Lawmaker because of the continuous attack of the ruling party on his bias on his show, sections also blame the NPP for bringing a lawyer to discuss financial and fiscal policies and others also believe the financial state of Ghana is worst already and they expect the government to admit their failures and be transparent to the current financial state
