 EPL club 'knew about player's assault claim last AUTUMN and kept on playing him'

 

It has been uncovered that a Premier League club knew about a players assault charge last year yet kept on playing him.

 

The worldwide footballer in his 20s, was hung on Monday after police called at his North London home.

 

In Autumn last year he was captured on doubt of assaulting two ladies and recounted one claim.

 

The player, who can't be named for lawful reasons, played last season.

 

His club declined to remark.

 

The supposed assault was accounted for to the Metropolitan police last August yet it was only after March that they opened an examination.

 

Police were investigating the detailed assault and one more asserted assault from February.

 

Scotland Yard said in an explanation to the Guardian today: 'A claim of assault was accounted for to the Metropolitan Police Service in August 2021. This supposed offense occurred external the UK and the MPS moved the report to the complainant's home power to continue with as suitable and support the complainant as is standard practice.

 

'In February 2022 the complainant made a further report to the MPS about a supposed offense of assault committed in London. The MPS did requests to lay out assuming it had lawful purview to examine the charges both abroad and in London.

 

'Whenever ward was affirmed, the MPS started examining the two matters in March 2022. Definite requests proceed with expert help for the complainant.'

 

The Premier League football player was addressed over the supposed assault during a vacation in the Mediterranean last month.

 

On Monday he was then re-captured on doubt of two episodes of assault in 2021 against an alternate lady.

 

The player was delivered on Tuesday and is currently temporarily free from jail until a date in August following his capture.

 

His previously affirmed casualty, likewise in her 20s, asserted she was assaulted in the Mediterranean last month.

 

She promptly left the five-star resort she was remaining in and flew home, it is said.

 

The lady told police of the attack on her re-visitation of the UK and showed photographs of injuries left on her body after the supposed assault.

 

A Metropolitan Police representative said: 'On 4 July, a charge of assault of a lady in her 20s was accounted for to police.

 

'It was accounted for the supposed assault occurred in June 2022.

 

On 4 July, a 29-year-elderly person was captured at a location in Barnet on doubt of assault and arrested

 

'While in care, he was additionally captured on doubt of two occurrences of assault that were claimed to have been committed in April and June of 2021 against an alternate lady in her 20s.

 

'
