According to The Mirror, Lisandro Martinez is ready to force his way out of Ajax in order to join Manchester United.

The Argentina defender, 24, is prepared to end his pre-season training with Ajax if the Dutch club fails to reach an agreement with Manchester United.

Manchester United made an offer of €50 million to Ajax for Martinez, but the Dutch club has yet to respond because they are holding out for close to €60 million.

Martinez is also losing patience with Ajax, who had hoped to spark a bidding war between United and Arsenal, with the Gunners also interested in the defender.

Martinez has stated his desire to join United and Ten Hag's Old Trafford revolution, and he has urged Ajax to complete a deal within the next 48 hours.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been linked with a sensational move to Chelsea, and Gianluca has spoken about a potential move from Manchester United. Ronaldo could be a target for Chelsea this summer, but due to his age, he would only be a short-term solution. In any case, Chelsea may be Ronaldo's only option.

I'm curious if he can go further than Didier Drogba did for Chelsea in the 2009-10 Premier League season. Didier Drogba was the last Chelsea forward to score 20 or more Premier League goals in a season. What do you think about Ronaldo coming to Chelsea and breaking Drogba's record?

Some thought bringing in the Portuguese forward would be a good idea, while others thought signing a 37-year-old striker wasn't the answer. With no transfers so far this window, Chelsea fans will take anyone at this point.

Along with fans expressing their reservations about signing CR7, some pundits believe it would be a bad move for both parties. Can Cristiano Ronaldo break all records and become a Chelsea legend?
