Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel has reached a decision on whether to sign Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo this summer.

The Portuguese star has requested to leave Manchester United in order to play for a team capable of winning the Champions League next season. Todd Boehly, the new owner of the Blues, met with Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes and was considering a record-breaking bid to sign the former Real Madrid and Juventus star.

Tuchel, on the other hand, appears to have put a stop to the move. It comes as Raheem Sterling was spotted arriving in London to finalize his move to the Blues.

Former Premier League star Paolo di Canio told Romelu Lukaku that he "flops in crucial games."

Ronaldo's transfer decision has been made.

Thomas Tuchel has ruled out signing Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United this summer.

The forward appears to be determined to leave United this summer, only a year after his emotional return. Blues owner Todd Boehly is eager to bring in a marquee signing this summer to usher in a new era for the club and has held preliminary talks with Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes.

However, the move is now unlikely to take place because Tuchel is unwilling to bring Ronaldo to Stamford Bridge.

The British pound arrives in London.

Raheem Sterling was spotted in London ahead of his move to Chelsea.

Sterling has agreed personal terms with Chelsea for a fee believed to be in the region of £50 million. The England international will sign a five-year contract with a one-year extension option.

He's now been filmed getting a haircut in London before the move. He is expected to join Chelsea's pre-season tour of the United States once the deal is completed.

Lukaku admitted that he "flops in crucial games."

Former Premier League star Paolo di Canio has told Romelu Lukaku that he failed to show up for the Blues in crucial matches.

Just a year after becoming Chelsea's record signing for £97.5 million, the Belgian international returned to Inter Milan on loan this summer. However, his struggles at the club last season, as well as his decision to go public with his dissatisfaction, led to his return to Italy.

And now Di Canio has admitted that Lukaku "flops in crucial games."
