Ronaldo 'not available to be purchased' demands Man Utd's Ten Hag
New Manchester United administrator Erik ten Hag said Monday that Cristiano Ronaldo was "not available to be purchased", regardless of the Portuguese hotshot skirting the pre-season visit through Thailand and Australia.
Ronaldo missed the beginning of preparing with the English Premier League goliaths last week because of a family issue.
The 37-year-old didn't make the plane for the pre-season trip, with reports saying he needs to pass on after United's inability to meet all requirements for the Champions League.
Talking before the Old Trafford club's first pre-season agreeable against Liverpool in Bangkok on Tuesday, Ten Hag said: "We are making arrangements for Cristiano Ronaldo for the season and that is all there is to it and I'm anticipating working with him.
"I have understood it, however what I say is Cristiano isn't available to be purchased, he is in our arrangements and we need achievement together."
