Ghanaian highlife musician Kwaisey Pee has questioned Mona 4Reall’s music talent.
He told Feeling Daddy on Takoradi-based Empire FM that the socialite has no music talent even though she has released hit songs.
Speaking about what some artists consider before they feature other artists on their songs, he said there is an artist who chooses to collaborate with people with the numbers and the buzz and not necessarily those that are talented.
“People will love to do a song with someone like Hajia 4Reall (Mona 4Reall) who is not a musician because of her large following,” he said.
When asked by the host if he meant his words, Kwaisey reiterated that people know the truth about Mona’s talent but are scared to say it.
“I know you want me to say something so you use it for a story but be told Hajia 4Reall is not a musician. I am telling you,” he said.
“You Feeling Daddy, you know what I am talking about but you want to push me so you say ‘Kwaisey Pee said it,” he added.
Mona 4Reall started her music career in 2020. After releasing three singles: ‘Badder Than’, ‘Fine Girl’, and ‘God’s Child’, she launched a 7-track EP titled ‘Here to Stay’ on October 14, 2021.
The EP comprises ‘Hero’ produced by Richie, ‘Zaddy’s Girl’ ft Medikal produced by Richie, ‘Hit’ ft. Stonebwoy produced by Streetbeatz, ‘Baby’ ft. Shatta Wale produced MixMaster Garzy, ‘Gimme Dat’ ft. Efya is produced by MixMaster Garzy and ‘Bad Gyal’ is produced by MixMaster Garzy.
Since embarking on the music journey, she has performed in high-profile programs, earned nominations, and won awards at some major award schemes in Ghana and abroad.
According to Mona who is unfazed by criticism about her musical talent, she has employed a voice coach and a dance instructor to help her perfect her craft.
In the meantime, highlife artiste Kwaisey Pee is out with a new song titled ‘Enko Nnya Me’ featuring Ofori Amponsah.
