Office of Bulk Oil Distributors selects Patrick Kwaku Ofori as CEO from August first

 

The Ghana Chamber of Bulk Oil Distributors has declared the arrangement of Dr. Patrick Kwaku Ofori as its new Chief Executive Officer, viable August first, 2022.

 

He will fill the opportunity made by the flight of the Chamber's establishing CEO, Senyo Hosi, who is venturing down following 10 years of exemplary assistance.

 

"Patrick has been chosen to supplant him after a thorough evaluation and screening and the Chamber accepts that he has the stuff to lead this chamber to more noteworthy levels," says Ivy Apea Owusu, seat of CBOD.

The Chamber offered its colossal thanks to Mr. Hosi for being a superb torchbearer and viable supporter for organizations in the downstream area of Ghana's petrol industry.

 

The approaching CEO of CBOD, Dr Ofori, has over 16 years of shifted leader proficient experience traversing Higher Education, Sports and the Oil and Gas industry.

 

He holds a PhD in Sports Psychology from the University of Stirling, Scotland and a MSc in Accounting and Finance from the University of Ghana. He is a Commonwealth Scholar and an International Convention on Science, Education and Medicine in Sports (ICSEMIS) Scholar.

 

Until his arrangement to the CBOD position, he was the Manager answerable for Crude Oil and Products Marketing at the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation.

 

He had recently involved the place of Manager answerable for Institutional Reporting and Stakeholder Relations at GNPC.

 

Dr Ofori is additionally the Founding Head of the Department of Sports Science at the University of Cape Coast.

 

"I was firmly drawn to this job on the grounds that CBOD is known broadly for its commitment in the downstream area, as well as its relationship with partners in the business," Dr Ofori says on his new arrangement.

Patrick Kwaku Ofori (PhD) is a Chartered Sports and Exercise Psychologist and an accomplished Management Executive with a differed foundation.

 

He has north of 16 years of involvement traversing Higher Education, Research, Human Resource Management, Procurement, Corporate Social Investment, Regulatory and Compliance, Lobbying, Government and Stakeholder Relations and Crude Oil Marketing and Trading.

 

Dr Ofori is a Commonwealth Scholar and an International Convention on Science, Education and Medicine in Sport (ICSEMIS) Scholar.

 

He was the establishing Head of the Department of Sport Science, University of Cape Coast. He holds a PhD in Sport Psychology from the University of Stirling, UK, and a MSc in Sport and Exercise Psychology from Loughborough University, UK.

 

He likewise holds a graduate degree in Accounting and Finance and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with Sociology both from the University of Ghana.

 

In his past job as Crude Oil Trader, he directed statistical surveying to help the evaluating, exchanging, and marking exercises and guaranteed viable advancement of Ghana's Crude Oil related to its Partners.
