The new conditions being worked on for the Trincao deal
09/07/2022 Upd. at 12:55 CEST If nothing changes, Francisco Trincao will be the next to leave Barcelona. The Portuguese winger will go back to his homeland, to play for Sporting Lisbon. The clubs were negotiating a loan with an option to buy, but the Portuguese press salon Saturday that they may buy him outright. A Bola and Record say that Sporting will pay 10m euros for 50 per cent of Trincao’s rights, and that he will sign a five year deal there, while Barcelona have a buy back option if they consider it opportune, for sporting or financial reasons. In the Algarve they are ready for Trincao to come, with coach Ruben Amorim hoping that he arrives as soon as possible.
Wolves pay Barcelona £5million to avoid being forced to sign one of their flops
Wolves are reportedly set to pay Barcelona £5million, so they don't have to sign flop loanee Francisco Trincao. Trincao failed to impress in the Midlands over 28 Premier League appearances that produced a two-goal haul - with a further strike in the Carabao Cup. According to BBC Sport, Wolves did have an option to buy the Barcelona youngster. However, they won't exercise their option to bring Trincao to Molineux on a permanent deal, instead paying Barcelona £5million to pass on his services. But Wolves will now bag 20% of his fee should the Portuguese winger leave the Camp Nou this summer. The experienced youngster has been linked with a move back to his homeland in the form of Sporting Lisbon. Sporting, who impressed in the Champions League this season, are reportedly ready to part ways with £15.5million for his services.
