KOKMA TO EXPAND SISTER CITY RELATIONSHIP WITH TURKISH

The Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE) for Korle Klottey the Honorable Nii Adjei Tawiah moved to the Turkish Ambassador to Ghana, Her Excellency, Özlem Ergün Ulueren.

The call for mutual respect was intended to promote and expand equal relations between the Korle Klottey Municipal Assembly (KoKMA) and business metropolitan networks in Turkey, which falls within the framework of a decentralized coordinated effort for improvement and cooperation between the North and the South.

Despite their differences, the two political heads exchanged views on the expansion of sister city associations between Korle Klottey and business metropolitan regions in Turkey, curtailment of construction programs, metropolitan planning, circular economy, business movement, especially along the coast of the Axis, the practice of green economy, re- market improvement and climate change among others.

According to the vital Nii Adjei Tawiah, his outfit mainly operates in Ghana's central business district, so the need to establish relationships with metropolitan networks in Turkey and share best practices for improvement and progress is a positive turn of events.

Decent Nii Adjei Tawiah referred to the expected open entrances in areas of articulation and culture as well as friendly industry as KoKMA has all the major regulatory facilities and total or global affiliations that make the location exceptional for the drive improvement in the city of Accra. .

On her part, Her Excellency Özlem Ergün Ulueren expressed interest in joining the efforts of the Korle Klottey Municipal Assembly as it operates in the business area of ??Ghana.

In a similar way, she called on KoKMA to implement recommendations in all areas that are important as a region for a future partner with real foundations in Turkey.

She commended the MCE and his entourage for the visit and believed that Turkey and the municipality of Korle Klottey would be solid areas for cultivating relations.

The KoKMA CEO was joined by City Treasury Officer Rev. Dr. Ellis Commey, City Budget Officer, Ernest Tagoe, Deputy Director, Amadu Iddrisu and Public Relations Officer, Nii Ofori-Quaye.
