Premier League pre-season friendlies: Every club's schedule has been confirmed for this summer
Premier League clubs are planning their pre-season schedules.
As all true football fans know, the summer does not officially begin until the pre-season friendlies begin.
Nowadays, it's more about commercialism, with money-making PR trips to America and Asia aplenty, though there are some admirable last bastions of tradition in England's top tier as well.

Every Premier League club's pre-season schedule has been confirmed.
Arsenal
Arsenal begin their pre-season schedule with a trip to Germany to face Nurnburg at the Max-Morlock Stadium. Following that, they will compete in the Florida Cup against two Premier League opponents.
Emirates Cup returns this summer too, but it's just one fixture rather than the previous tournament format.

Aston Villa
This summer, Aston Villa will travel extensively, beginning with a trip up the road to Walsall.
Following that is a three-match trip to Australia, where they will face Leeds and Manchester United, before finishing with a quick trip to France.

Bournemouth have so far only revealed a light pre-season schedule, though there will be a 'training camp' in Portugal that will include a couple of warm-up games against as-yet unconfirmed opposition.

Brentford begin their pre-season schedule with a low-key match at Boreham Wood before heading to Germany to play a couple of games.
They will then return to the UK to face Brighton at the Amex Stadium and finish things off with a home fixture against Real Betis.

Brighton
Brighton's pre-season schedule is eclectic, with a few gaps to fill in the middle.
They will begin their campaign at home against Belgian club Union Saint Gilloise, which is owned by Seagulls chairman Tony Bloom. Following that, they appear to be siding with the British opposition.

Brentford (H) vs. Chelsea on July 26
Chelsea has only announced fixtures for their upcoming American tour, though more are almost certainly on the way.
They are one of the teams competing in the Florida Cup, with their first game taking place in Las Vegas before traveling to the east coast.

The Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace is another of the Premier League clubs who have decided to head to the Far East rather than to the US for pre-season.
Their first match is against Liverpool in Thailand*, followed by matches against Manchester United and Leeds in Australia. What's amusing at this point is that the official websites for Liverpool and Crystal Palace can't seem to agree on where their match will be held this summer, which could be entertaining.

At the time of writing, Fulham had only confirmed that they would travel to Portugal to compete in the Algarve Trophy.
It's part of a Portugal pre-season 'tour.' which also features a game against Estoril.

Leeds
Leeds are yet another club heading to Australia this summer to compete in the Queensland Champions Cup.

Leicester

Liverpool
Despite the fact that the Community Shield cut Liverpool's pre-season by a week, the Reds are still trying to fit a lot in.
Thailand, Singapore*, Germany, and Austria are among the destinations for the Reds this summer, though no dates have been set for the latter.
Crystal Palace appears to be disputing the location of this match once more.

Southampton are another club that does not appear to be in a hurry to confirm their plans.
They have two confirmed fixtures, one of which will take place during their pre-season training camp in Austria.

Tottenham have been quick to make moves in the transfer market this summer, and they appear to have planned a fun pre-season.
They will travel to Korea to capitalize on Heung-min Son's enormous popularity, then return to Rangers. They will conclude their campaign in Israel, where they will face Roma in the I-Tech Cup.

West Ham
West Ham are one of the Premier League's cool kids who are sticking to tradition this summer.
