Wolverhampton Wanderers have finished the signing of defender Nathan Collins from Championship side Burnley on a five-year contract, the Premier League club declared on Tuesday.Wolves paid a transfer charge in the locale of 20.5 million pounds ($24.41 million) for the Ireland international, as per British media reports.
"The focal defender has concurred a five-year bargain, with the choice of a further 12 months, to become Bruno Lage's first new signing of the summer," Wolves said in a statement.
Collins will join his teammates for their pre-season instructional course in Alicante, Spain.The 21-year-old moves to Wolves after one season at Turf Moor, during which he showed up as Burnley were consigned to the second level.
"We've taken a gander at Nathan for some time and respected him, so we're more than happy," said Wolves specialized chief Scott Sellars. "He's just 21, has played international football and had a decent season last year with Burnley."Wolves, who finished tenth last season, start off the new mission with an excursion to Leeds United on August 6.
