Barcelona have finally submitted the official bid for Raphinha, Leeds are set to accept! €58m fixed fee, up to €68m with add-ons. Deal at final stages. All parties waiting for Barça to be able and ready to register Raphinha, then it will be signed.

Leeds United were still holding out on Barcelona's improved transfer offer for Raphinha, according to Fabrizio Romano, after Barcelona made an improved offer of 60 million and 10 million in add-ons.

Raphinha has also given Barcelona 48 hours to finalise his transfer from Leeds United, failing which Chelsea may re-enter the race for the Brazilian winger. Chelsea were the first to match Raphinha's £60 million/€70.8 million asking price, but the winger and his agent Deco had already agreed personal terms with Barcelona in May.

Barcelona has since taken steps to alleviate their financial woes by selling a portion of their future television rights, allowing them to sign Franck Kessie and Andreas Christensen. While a €70 million fee is above their budget, especially with a €50 million deal for Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski in the works, Barcelona are said to have matched Chelsea's offer, though they will pay it in instalments. Raphinha and Deco have given Barcelona and Leeds 48 hours to reach an agreement or return to the Chelsea bid, with Arsenal dropping out of the race to sign the 25-year-old. Raphinha's next destination will most likely be Leeds, who have already signed him.

Leeds manager Jesse Marsch said, "We'll just have to wait and see what happens in the next few days." "I know he has hopes and dreams." I know how much he loves this team and this club, and how much he enjoys his time here. We'll see how things progress day by day.

During the summer transfer window, Barcelona is looking to strengthen their right flank. The Catalans have been attempting to sign Ousmane Dembele to a new contract for some time.

Moreover, while some reports claim that the Frenchman has agreed to terms on a new contract, he must still await Mateu Alemany's approval. In their pursuit of Leeds attacker Raphinha, things aren't looking promising. According to reports, the Brazilian international could play for Chelsea or the Nou Camp next season. Given Barcelona's financial constraints, they may have to choose between the two—so who should they prioritise?

Raphinha and Dembele on the team

Both are 25-year-old wingers with outstanding technical ability. Raphinha ranks in the 83 percentile of right-wingers in the top five leagues for successful box entries, while Dembele ranks in the 99th percentile. Similarly, the former Borussia Dortmund attacker has 99 assists in the last 365 days, while the Leeds player has 49. Of course, the teams they play for and the opportunities they create are a caveat; Leeds and Barcelona are chalk and cheese in this regard. However, if the La Liga club is looking for a player who can both score and create, Raphinha is the man to sign.

Aside from statistics, Barcelona's biggest challenge with Dembele will be his injury history and inconsistency. Even if a deal for the winger is reached, ensuring that he is firing on all cylinders will be critical.
