Bruno Fernandes sends message to Man Utd youngsters over preseason tour
Bruno Fernandes wants to see the young players at Manchester United seize their opportunities during the club's preseason.
The Red Devils defeated Liverpool 4-0 on Tuesday in Bangkok to begin their tour of Asia and Australia.
Fernandes, who joined United in January 2020 as a result of the pandemic, is taking part in his first preseason trip like many of United's young players.
The youthful members of his team have received a message from the Portuguese great.
The 27-year-old stated, "This [tour] has to be a dream for them, just like it is for me. "Age is simply a number; they should take pleasure in it.
"At the same time, they need to demonstrate that they want to be here, be a part of this squad, and play as much as I do. If they demonstrate it as well as their quality, which is necessary for them all to be at this level and present at this club.
"They need to demonstrate that and convince the coach that they belong on this team, too."
