Chelsea transfer news LIVE: Koulibaly DONE DEAL, Raheem Sterling JOINS SQUAD in LA, Blues step up Gnabry pursuit

Good morning Chelsea fans Chelsea star Ben Chilwell is desperate to get into the England squad for the World Cup in Qatar. The Blues left-back revealed it would be the highlight of his career if given the opportunity to do so. Chilwell said to The Telegraph: “It would be the highlight not just of my career, but of my life. “Over the next three or four months I am just going to do everything that I can to try to make sure that is my spot.” Elsewhere, Romelu Lukaku intends to stay with Inter Milan beyond his season-long loan deal, reports claim. The Belgian joined Inter this summer after declaring his desire to return to Italy midway through last season. But he’s already decided his Stamford Bridge exit will be a long-term one, according to Sport Mediaset. The publication claims Lukaku has a gentleman’s agreement in place with Inter over a permanent switch. He’s even told friends and family his plans to remain at the San Siro, the report added. In other news, Chelsea have identified Real Betis midfielder Guido Rodriguez as a potential replacement for N’Golo Kante. Kante’s been linked with a move to Arsenal this summer as he enters the final year of his contract. And the Blues are preparing for life without their midfield engine. Rodriguez will be able to fill Kante’s boots if he decides to join Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal revolution, according to Estadio Deportivo. Finally, Declan Rice reportedly has a gentleman’s agreement with West Ham to stay for ONE more season amid serious transfer interest from Chelsea. A number of top Premier League clubs have been tracking Rice, including the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City. However, the Hammers have put a £150million price tag on their captain, despite Rice turning a new mega deal down. But according to talkSPORT, Rice has a gentleman’s agreement with West Ham to stay for one more season ahead of a potential Summer 2023 exit. And journalist Alex Cook claims he “wouldn’t be surprised” if Rice ended up at boyhood club Chelsea.
