VP Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has lamented the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Bibiani Anwiaso Bekwai Alfred Amoah and his driver Samuel Gyasi who kicked the pail in a setback that occurred on Tuesday July 12.
Dr Bawumia said the two were committed patriots who gave balance and excitement.
"Hopeless to hear the death of Hon. Alfred Amoah, MCE for Bibiani Anwiaso Bekwai Municipal Assembly and his driver Samuel Gyasi. Both Alfred and Samuel have been dedicated patriots who gave pride and energy.
"May the spirits of our dear kin rest as one," he formed on Facebook on Wednesday July 13.
The disaster at Akim Fisher on the Accra Kumasi expressway in the Eastern locale.

On showing up at a piece of the road at Akim Fisher on the Accra-Kumasi Highway, a Man Diesel Articulated truck No. AS 4229-X from Kumasi bearing got sidetracked from its way and crashed head-on with the Nissan Patrol 4×4.
The MCE and his driver got found out in the vehicle and both passed on the spot.
With the help of the National Fire Service from Bunso and Kibi the arrays of the left were wiped out and sent off Kibi Government Hospital where they were certified by the Medical Officer working.
Their bodies were put away at the funeral home for shielding, ID and assessment.
