According to 90min, Manchester United and Ajax have come to a broad agreement about the signing of Lisandro Martinez.

The Argentine, who can play center back, full back, and holding midfield, has drawn interest from Arsenal. The Red Devils have already made two offers for him and are eager to complete a deal as soon as possible.

Erik ten Hag's eagerness to get him to Old Trafford has kept talks going despite Ajax's persistent efforts to raise his price during negotiations with United.

According to 90min, United and Ajax have now reached a wide understanding, with the 13-time Premier League champions agreeing to pay a sum of €55 million for the 24-year-old, consisting of €50 million in fixed payments and €5 million in add-ons.

Ajax had hoped to bring United's asking price closer to €60 million, but Martinez has become more vocal about his desire to go over the past 48 hours, possibly causing a deal to be completed.

Additionally, 90min has learned that negotiations for Brazilian forward Antony are still underway. The attacker is also a target for Chelsea, a rival team in the Premier League, but the two clubs are still at odds over his price. The 22-year-old is valued at €80 million by Ajax, and a contract is not yet close to being reached.

In addition, United is attempting to move forward with a deal for Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong, but they are having difficulty moving the process along. As a result, chief executive Richard Arnold and football director John Murtough traveled to Spain earlier this week to try to resolve the impasse.

There is also anticipation that Christian Eriksen would sign a three-year contract soon; according to 90min, he has decided to leave Brentford and join United.

Frenkie de Jong's agents informed both teams of his intentions this summer, dealing Manchester United a stinging setback in their long-running pursuit of the Barcelona midfielder. Although De Jong has been the center of United's transfer strategy, the club might be prepared to back out of a deal for Erik ten Hag's top target.

De Jong's representatives, Ali Dursun and Hasan Cetinkaya, have told both Barcelona and United that their client has no plans to leave Camp Nou this summer. This is according to Fabrizio Romano. The blockbuster transfer is currently on hold because the 25-year-old Netherlands international will not agree to any pay cut or related conversations.
