The premium battery-powered bikes from Kofa, an indigenous Ghanaian energy technology firm, will now be sold in Ghana.

This comes after a fruitful pilot project in Ghana that evaluated the durability and effectiveness of the novel bikes and batteries. A six-month pilot effort involved a number of courier and logistics businesses, including Graphic Courier.

Because they don't need gasoline, electric bikes have the distinct benefit of being more affordable, smoother to ride, more powerful, and having less of an impact on the environment. As a result, they don't release smoke or other toxins into the air directly. A more suitable substitute for the present era.

Erik Nygard, the company's founder and CEO, said that significant investment had been made in its motorbike brand. batteries and the switch stations to guarantee a smooth and effective market launch.

It has been a joy working with our pilot clients and innovative companies like Graphic Courier to test the potential of an electric motorbike; it has given us a lot of knowledge that we have already applied to enhance our goods and services, and we are prepared.

Nathan K.V.S, the CEO of Graphic Courier, expressed the optimism that the introduction of Kofa motorbikes to Ghana will be a fantastic complement to the existing delivery methods.

Apart from the financial savings, the Kofa bike's capacity to lessen the impact on the environment by not producing pollutants is crucial. We had the honour of pilot testing one.

Through its Swap & Go technology, Kofa's main business is to provide simple access to charged swappable batteries. At any of the Kofa Swap Stations that are currently being erected across Accra, Ghana, batteries may be accessible. This implies that when a rider's batteries run out of power, they can quickly replace them with newly charged ones at a switch station in less time than it takes to fill a gas tank.

Going electric with Kofa batteries and an electric motorcycle can result in financial savings of up to 30% over using gasoline.
