As he prepares to join Chelsea for £50 million, RAHEEM STERLING bid a kind farewell to Manchester City.
Real, 27, and the Blues reached an agreement on personal terms last week. He will sign a five-year contract at Stamford Bridge with an option for an additional year.
Raheem Sterling has officially signed with Chelsea.
Through virtual entertainment, he has since uploaded a three-minute film detailing his experiences at the Etihad.
In addition, he wrote a lengthy subtitle that read: "Seven seasons, eleven noteworthy trophies, a long time of memories.
"My appreciation for you couldn't be higher, to the coaching staff who have had a significant impact on my development over the long term, to my teammates who have evolved beyond the people I play on the field with, to the private cabin staff, to the office staff, to the supporters who have fervently supported the team, and to everyone connected to Manchester City.
What a journey it has been.
I'm grateful for both the highs and lows. Because of the ups and downs, which occasionally tested my solidarity and resolve, I am able to continue standing in front of you as the most perfect version of myself.
"I arrived in Manchester as a 20-year-old and am leaving today as a man.
"Thank you very much for your endless assistance. Wearing a Manchester City shirt has been an honor."
Thomas Tuchel, the manager of Chelsea, was eager to complete the deal so Sterling could get a ticket for the preseason trip to Los Angeles last Saturday.
And while it was unrealistic, the Blues are certain that now that he has completed his clinical in London, he will actually want to get together with his new colleagues when on a visit.
Sterling should stick with Tuchel's team for the remainder of their preseason trip to the USA, which will last 14 days.
Chelsea has prepared equipment for its matches against Club America of Mexico in Las Vegas, Charlotte FC of the Major League Soccer in Charlotte, and Arsenal in Orlando.
SunSport just discovered that the Blues had concentrated on marking Sterling last month.
He comes prepared with a wealth of involvement and four Premier League championships from his time at Manchester City.
The forward, who completes papers for an initial £47.5 million with a potential increase to £50 million, was entering the final year of his contract with City when he was given the option to go and play regular games in time for the World Cup.
Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez's signings at the Etihad Stadium will further strengthen the competition for spots in Pep Guardiola's team.
After declining a new contract at City, Three Lions legend Sterling is now concentrating on Champions League excellence with Chelsea - and the coveted Ballon d'Or.
Boehly had been concentrating on an explanation mark, and Sterling provides that.
Additionally, there might be something else to go along with the Blues' strong ties to both Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo.
After Romelu Lukaku, the league's leading scorer, was loaned to Inter Milan, Tuchel needs some additional strength up top.
