BIBIANI-ANHWIASO-BEKWAI MCE 'KILLER' REMANDED

Police have caught the driver of the made sense of truck that banged into the vehicle of the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipal Assembly, Alfred Amoah and his driver, Samuel Gyasi who both passed on the spot.

He has been blamed for tactless and discourteous driving contrary to Section 3 of the Road Traffic Act 2004 (Act 683) as adjusted by Act 2008 Act 761, and imprudently causing any sort of harm contrary to Section 72 of the Criminal Offenses Act, 1960, Act 29.

The suspect whose character isn't immediately known was put under the watchful eye of Kibi Circuit Court where he has been remanded to allow satisfactory time for extra assessments.

His request was not taken when he appears at the court oversaw by Peter Oppong-Boahen.

The Prosecutor, Detective Inspector Kamal Salifu Gumah, engaged God for the court to remand the suspect into police care as assessments are as of now at a basic stage.

According to the examiner, the case plan would be shipped off the Attorney General's office for appeal after assessments are done for study and direction.

The court thus remanded the suspect into police care and excused the case to Wednesday, July 20.

Police principal assessments show that the 32-year-old driver of the articulated truck with enlistment number AS 4229 X was speeding and decided to unexpectedly apply brakes on seeing vehicles before him toning down.

Enthusiastic about his mate, the vehicle went of its way into the vehicle of the MCE, achieving his passing and that of his driver.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Ekuona family at Sefwi Bekwai in the Western North Region, Nana Wireko Ampem, has groaned about the surprising destruction of his nephew, Alfred Amoah.

As shown by him, the withdrew MCE was the brightening of the family.

"The entire Bibiani and Bekwai social class have lost a phenomenal man. He was the brightening of our friends and family. He called yesterday and let me in on that he was going to a get-together in Accra. I was there around evening time when the NPP Party Chairman called to enlighten me that my nephew was related with a setback and had passed on with his driver.

"I moved to his mother's home and relocated her to elsewhere to avoid the shocks she will cause in the wake of hearing the news. Notwithstanding, we have enlightened her around the start of today and she is hopeless," he said, adding that the family will in a little while meet the power of the New Patriotic Party close by for the significant entombment administration strategies to be made.

"He has a spot with our family anyway he was similarly a person from the NPP so we are organizing a get-together to choose the entombment administration plans," he added.

In like manner, Chairman of the New Patriotic Party in the Area, Appiah Kubi revealed that the driver who kicked the pail with the MCE in the setback is also another disaster for the party.

According to him, "He is a cultivated driver. I have gone with him and the late MCE on numerous occasions yet what happened I ought to say was terrible. We have taught his family with respect to his passing."

Meanwhile, mourners gathered at the family house on Wednesday morning.
