RESULTS OF THE UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE QUALIFYING ROUND

52 clubs compete in a qualifying format for six spaces available for the lower tier league to play in the league during the Champion league qualify phase and play-off round. 

All league champions who do not have direct access to the Group Stage are represented by the 52 teams. 

The results of the 2023-23 UEFA Champions League first qualifying round second leg matches are listed below. 

 

This evening's opening game pits Slovan Bratislava against host Dinamo Batumi in the Batumi Stadium. The game ended 0-0 after regulation, but the visitor scored twice to win in overtime after the home team tied the score in the 104th minute.Since the score was 1-2 on aggregate, Slovan Bratislava advanced to the next round. For Dinamo, Davitashvili scored, while Baresghyan and Weiss scored for Slovan. 

 

Bodoe/Glimt won the match against Klaksvik 3-1 and 3-4 on the overall score. Klakvik scored goals from Mads Boe Mikkelsen and J.B. Andreasen in the 20th and 85th minutes to qualify for Bodoe. 

At the Yeni Sakarya Ataturk Stadium, strong Maribor defeated Shakhyor 2-0, drawing 0-0 in the first league. Maribor's striker Baturina scored twice to guarantee his team's qualification. 

 

Adama Traore and Ferencvaros destroyed Tobol Kostanay in the second leg after a scoreless draw in the first. and Laidouni all scored twice for Ferencvaros, as did Laidouni. 

 

CRF Cluj and Pyun had to be separated by a penalty kick in order to win the game. After 90 minutes of play, the game at Dr. Constantin Radulescu Stadium was tied at 2-2, but the Pyunik triumphed 3-4 to advance to the next round. 

Mulgrew and Devine scored both goals as Linfield defeated TNS 2-0 in the previous game at Windsor Park. 

 

Senegal and Mozambique both defeated Eswatini and South Africa on penalties in the COSAFA Cup Quarterfinals to advance to the Semifinals. 

The Women's Africa Cup of Nations quarterfinal saw the conclusion of its first two games this evening, with The Host defeating the Mare of Botswana 2-1 to advance to the semifinals and their first-ever FIFA World Cup. 

 

Similarly, Zambia accomplished the same feat when they defeated the Teranga Lionesses 4-2 on penalties.
